50 children get free bikes

SHELTON-It’ll start as a free day of play at the Sports Center of Connecticut and end with a free bicycle and helmet for 50 area children today.
The children, aged six-to-11 were selected by Team, Inc., United Way of Costal Fairfield County and the Lower Naugatuck Valley Parent Resource Center.
The bikes are from the Barnum Financial Group’s Foundation for Life. The helmets are from Griffin Hospital’s Safe Kids Greater Naugatuck Valley program. And the three hours of free play come courtesy of the First Niagara Bank.
